A study of the possibility of using photographic materials for the visualization of single pulses of an electromagnetic field in the invisible region of the spectrum
Abstract
It is shown to be possible to record very short single pulses of invisible radiation (lambda = 1.06 micron) from a neodymium laser on Unibrom photographic paper which has been previously exposed in a developer to weak diffuse light to give a faint grey density.
