Random periodic arrays using generators with given amplitudes - Designed by Poisson's trials
Abstract
Lattice points whose number is larger than the number of generators are arranged on an aperture and as many radiation elements as the generators are allotted to the lattice points by means of Poisson's trials. Eventually these radiator elements are connected to the generators. Theory on such arrays is also applicable to tapered arrays. It is an advantage of the present arrays that the radiation efficiency is not lowered by introductin of statistical determination.
