Interception de la pluie par la végétation forestière estimation de l'interception journalière à l'aide d'un modèle mathématique
Abstract
On basis of observations made in a spruce (Picea Abies) forest and in a beech forest (Fagus sylvatica) a relation between intercepted water and rainfall, rain intensity and evaporating power of the air is established. A mathematical model is then developed in order to allow, and this for past and actual meteorological conditions, the day to day computation of the potential and real interception, the amount of water remaining in the canopy, the throughfall, the evaporation of the intercepted precipitation and the potential evapotranspiration which has an influence on the soil water balance. The main purpose of this study is of methodological order. The numerical results are but preliminary ones. They enable the value of the method to be assessed.
