L'effet de réorientation dans le premier état excité du 46Ti et Du 48Ti
Abstract
The first 2 + states in 46,48Ti were excited using a beam of 16O at energies below the Coulomb barrier. The data were interpreted in terms of the semiclassical theory of the Coulomb excitation and the analysis with a coupled-channel computer code yields the values of the reduced transition probabilities if B(E2;0 1+ → 2 1+) = 0.097 ±0.007 e2·b 2 and 0.072± 0.004 e2·b 2, for the 46Ti and 48Ti, respectively. The static quadrupole moments of the first excited states were also extracted from the data and the values obtained are Q(su46 Ti, 0.889 MeV) = -0.28 ± 0.14 e · b and Q( 48Ti, 0.983 MeV) = -0.38 ± 0.3 e · b, neglecting the effects of higher excited states. These results are compared with recent theoretical calculations and with the values obtained by Häusser et al. The agreement with these experimental results is satisfactory.
