An attempt to derive an interstellar by balloon-borne observations.
Abstract
A balloon-borne experiment has been carried out in order to measure stellar ultraviolet radiation in the Orion region. An interstellar extinction law has been derived in the wavelength range 2000 A - 4000 A. It is found that the law does not change appreciably in the part of the Orion region to which the stars 6, C and belong. Key words: ultraviolet astronomy - balloon-borne observations - interstellar extinction law
