Evolution of rapidly rotating stars with mass loss.
Abstract
A method is described for calculating evolutionary sequences of uniformly rotating stars including the effects of equatorial mass loss. Results are presented for a 9Me model with initial rotational velocity near maximum. The rate of mass loss during the hydrogen burning phase is consistent with observational evidence from Be stars. Key words: stellar evolution - mass loss - Be stars - rotating stars
