The structure of star clusters. IV. Photoelectric surface photometry in nine globular clusters

Surface brightness profiles are given for the innermost 3' of radius in nine bright globular clusters. Argu- ments are given for preferring these data to others in the literature. Also included is a quantitative discussion of statistical fluctuations in surface brightness and color, due to the random distribution of the individual stars.
