Gonadotrophic Hormones Affect Aggressive Behavior in Starlings
Abstract
Injections of gonadotrophic hormones into subordinate male European starlings produced reversals in social rank, suggesting that pituitary gonadotrophic hormones rather than gonadal hormones influence aggressive behavior in this species.
