The nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of fluorocarbons Part III. Halogenated propynes, propenes, butenes, and cyclopentenes
Abstract
The nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of one fluorinated propyne (CF 3C…CH), four halogenated propenes and butenes (CCl 2CHCF 3, CClFCHCF 3, CF 3CClCClCF 3, and CF 3CClCFCF 3), and two halogenated cyclopentenes (1,2-dichlorohexafluorocyclopentene and perfluorocyclopentene) have been investigated. In general, chemical shifts could be determined for H 1 and F 19 at various intramolecular sites; in most cases, spin-spin coupling constants could be determined. The molecular parameters obtained from analyses of the observed spectra are tabulated.
