Pure Culture of the Trichomycete, Amoebidium parasiticum
Abstract
THE Trichomycetes as defined by Duboscq et al.1 include four orders of little-known fungi. Common characteristics of this class include a polarized thallus of limited growth, a basal holdfast, and association with various arthropods, usually as endocommensals in the digestive tract.
