VizieR Online Data Catalog: The Araucaria Project: deep NIR phot. I. (Karczmarek+, 2021)
Abstract
During the course of the Araucaria Project (Gieren+ 2005Msngr.121...23G) we have collected high-quality near-infrared (NIR) J- and K-band photometry for 11 galaxies in the Local Group, and four galaxies in the Sculptor Group.
The NIR data were collected between 2001 and 2013 as a part of the Araucaria Project, with three NIR cameras: SOFI at the New Technology Telescope (NTT) in La Silla Observatory, and ISAAC and HAWK-I at the Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Paranal Observatory. These instruments have high spatial resolutions and fields of view: 4.9'x4.9' and 0288pix-1 (SOFI), 7.5'x7.5' and 0106pix-1 (HAWK-I), 2.5'x2.5' and 0148pix-1 (ISAAC). Generally, for SOFI we took between 19 and 21 exposures in the J band and 25-55 exposures in the K band, for HAWK-I we took between 15 and 18 exposures in the J band and 26-45 in the K band, and for ISAAC we took between 4 and 20 exposures in the J band and 24-26 in the K band.
