Eccentricity and Inclination Reduction Following Capture of Martian Moons
Abstract
A hypothesis for the low inclination of the orbits of the martian moons following capture is presented, in which the inclination is reduced by the cumulative effect of ejection and re-accretion of material from the surfaces.
