Multi-Wavelength Observatories: New probes of GWs from the Center of Galaxies
Abstract
GW Astronomy was ushered after the recent detection of GWs from Binary BHs (BBHs) in LIGO/Virgo collaboration. There are several outstanding questions related to the GWs including the source of the BBHs their distance and the frequency range associated with the binaries that are essential here. While LIGO is capable to answer some of these questions the others are completely beyond the access of the ground based detectors. Multi-Wavelength observatories is an excellent place to answer such questions. In this talk we discuss about the Multi-Wavelength observatories ranging from 1e-6 to 1e3 Hz and with the capability of shedding light about the evolution of the BBHs much before their merger up to their merging time. With an especial focus on Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) we will also estimate the expected number of the GW events from the inspiral phase of stellar mass BHs around the center of Sgr A* and the impact of the dynamical friction of the stellar cluster around Sgr A* on the GW signal.
