A Proposed Joint NASA-ESA Architecture for the Return of Martian Samples

We describe the MSR campaign architecture being jointly studied by NASA and ESA, including NASA's current Mars 2020 Rover, a NASA-led Sample Retrieval Lander, an ESA-led Earth Return Orbiter, and ground-based Mars Return Sample Handling activities.
