Study of mean-field theory on the magnetocaloric effect of La0.7Bi0.05Sr0.15Ca0.1Mn0.85In0.15O3 manganite
Abstract
In this paper, we study the molecular field model to analyze the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) and the magnetic properties of La0.7Bi0.05Sr0.15Ca0.1Mn0.85In0.15O3 perovskite. This typical numerical theory was used to modulate the experimental data. The mean-field exchange parameter λ, the order of phase transition and the Brillouin function were immediately studied. The MCE has been obtained with the thermodynamics of the model. A good agreement between the theoretical and experimental data has been observed. From the Landau theory, it has been successfully verified that the nature of transition is of second order.
