Practitioner's Perspective: Building Resilience Through Science and Action
Abstract
As the impacts of climate change and natural disasters become more pronounced, local, state, and regional stakeholders are stepping up to ensure their communities are enhancing resilience. This presentation will discuss how science and scientific partnerships are supporting this work and what opportunities exist for enhancing this work through an applied, sustained assessment. During this presentation, we'll discuss an emerging framework for the types of opportunities/challenges that local practitioners face for which an applied, sustained assessment could provide value.
