The composition of plasma of an arc pulsed discharge in a multichamber arrester is calculated. The reasons for choosing the specific chemical components included into this calculation are given. The system of nonlinear equations for calculating the plasma composition is described. The sources of data for the calculation are specified. The calculation results are detailed and analyzed. Further uses of the results of calculation of the composition of such plasma are described.
