NIMB 2014 Editorial
Abstract
Over the past year we have continued and intensified our efforts to make NIMB an even more attractive journal for publishing articles on all aspects of beam interactions with materials and atoms, of service to a wide community of researchers. In particular, we have made stronger demands on authors for their papers to be accepted, and have pushed hard to improve citation practices amongst authors. Average time from submission to publication of accepted articles has also been reduced. These efforts have been underway for several years now, and we are satisfied to see that the NIMB impact factor has once again increased, from 1.21 in 2011 to 1.27 in 2012.
