Unexpected Characteristics of Uranus' Southern Circulation Revealed by 28-Year Old Data
Abstract
Uranus' circulation has a 10°-wide latitude region of constant rotation rate, the first such region on a jovian planet. It has an unusually large north-south asymmetry. Uranus has the fastest rotating feature relative to the interior rotation.
