Abstract
T. Morokuma, Institute of Astronomy, University of Tokyo; N. Tominaga, E. Matsumoto, T. Shibata, and M. Yamanaka, Konan University; and M. Tanaka, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan -- on behalf of the Kiso Supernova Survey (KISS) collaboration -- report the discovery of a new transient object (mag 16.6) on a g-band CCD image (limiting mag 19.9) taken on Oct. 27.72 UT with the Kiso Wide Field Camera (field-of-view 2.1 deg x 2.1 deg) on the 1.05-m Schmidt telescope at the Kiso Observatory. The new object is located at R.A. = 7h55m40s.62, Decl. = +26d46'18".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is the same position as a blue object in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS J075540.64+264618.6).
