Lattice two-body problem in an electric field
Abstract
Solutions of the two-body problem on a tight-binding one-dimensional lattice and in the presence of a linear external field are presented and discussed. Pairwise interactions with an arbitrary but finite range are considered. Solutions obtained by coupling of particles in Wannier-Stark resonant states in the single-band approximation are compared with solutions obtained by treating the field perturbatively. Affects of particle identity are also considered.
