Delivery Mechanism of Supernova Produced 26Al, 60Fe, and Oxygen to the Forming Solar System
Abstract
We conducted a simulation of a 15 solar mass supernova explosion using a parallel, fully 3-dimensional SPH code to show the formation of over-dense clumps for the delivery of certain isotopes to a forming solar system.
