Comparative analysis of reversible magnetizations for grain-aligned Bi 1.84Pb 0.34Sr 1.91Ca 2.03Cu 3.06O 10+δ and HgBa 2Ca 2Cu 3O 8+δ with three CuO 2 planes
Abstract
We have measured the reversible magnetization of Bi 1.84Pb 0.34Sr 1.91Ca 2.03Cu 3.06O 10+δ (Bi-2223) and HgBa 2Ca 2Cu 3O 8+δ (Hg-1223), having three CuO 2 planes as a function of the temperature and magnetic field. By employing the Hao-Clem model, superconducting parameters, such as the penetration depth and the coherence length, are obtained. From the results, we confirmed that the effective carrier mass for Hg-1223 is about three-times larger than that for Bi-2223 due to the higher carrier density in Hg-1223.
