Simulations and Signatures of P and CP Violation in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions
Abstract
We have constructed a family of computer models to simulate the final state particle distributions associated with the P and CP violation effects predicted by Kharzeev, Pisarski, and Tytgat. We will describe the models and use them to test various experimental signatures that have been proposed to measure the P and CP violating effects. In the future, the simulation models will used to explore systematic errors that may be introduced by the STAR detector.
