Possibility of establishing global mapping functions of atmospheric refractive delays.
Abstract
Since the establishments of the modern space techniques, it has been proved that the errors of atmospheric refractive delays of signals was the main error source constraining improvement of observational accuracies in geodynaqmics researches. As one of the recent new mapping functions, Niell model (NMF) has been noticed somethere else. Through theoretical analysis and comparisons between different mapping function models and numerical integrals along track path by radiosonde observation data, the advantages and disadvantages of NMF model were investigated in detail, in this paper. The errors of the height correction formulas of station in NMF model was reviewed and analyzed.
