The influence of rolling direction on strength and plasticity characteristics of broad plates of the PT-3VKT alloy
Abstract
The orientation dependence of mechanical properties of alloy PT-3Vkt plates after hot cross rolling followed by cold rolling straining is investigated. Fourier series to describe anisotropy of each property are found on the basis of the experimental data and the strength criterion which takes into account the influence of hydrostatic pressure upon the metal strength characteristics. A correlation analysis of the relationship between physical and mechanical properties is performed.
