Heat transfer in a dummy flat channel with a one-sided blow
Abstract
Heat transfer in a dummy flat channel with a one-sided blow has been experimentally investigated. The investigations were aimed at refining the mathematical evaporation model for a whirled flow of a cryogenic liquid. In this case, film boiling in the Leidenfrost regime takes place. In fact, modelling of heat processes in the steam gap under the liquid film is meant. The channel of the experimental device models steam entrainment from the film surface of the liquid, when the evaporation process takes place, due to the blowing out of air.
