Sound scattering on a finite elastic cylindrical shell with semispherical plugs
Abstract
An iterative method for solving the problem of plane acoustic wave diffraction on a finite elastic shell is examined which is similar to the Schwarzschild method for two bodies. An analysis is presented for the region of scattering indicatrix minima and for the region of low wave incidence angles.
