The radio emission and the activity of nuclei of spiral galaxies
Abstract
The results of radio observations of spiral galaxies of the same morphological subtype (Sbc) confirm, that the occurrence of radio emission from them and also the radio luminosities of them are correlated with optical signs of nuclear activity of galaxies determined according to the Byurakan classification. It must also be noted, that nuclear activity is expressed by the radio emission of disks of galaxies, which have sufficiently large sizes.
