The wideband plasma wave interaction
Abstract
The wideband plasma wave investigation for the Cluster experiment is designed to provide the high resolution spectral analysis required to clearly identify many types of plasma waves detected in the Earth's magnetosphere. The system provides measurements of electric and magnetic fields in selected frequency ranges from 10 Hz to 600 kHz. Continuous waveforms are digitized, formatted, and transferred to the spacecraft telemetry system using either a real time mode or a burst data mode.
