The uncertainty principle and the {1}/{ƒ} noise
Abstract
The low frequency fluctuation of the diffusion coefficient due to the uncertainty principle is investigated. The treatment is based on Machta's disordered random-walk model which is valid also for not too weak disorder. Hooge parameter for nondegenerated semiconductors and for metals is also deduced.
