Analysis of diode mounts in millimetre-wave propagating structures
Abstract
A novel analytical technique is described for determination of the impedance of a cylindrical-post diode mounting structure in a general class of millimeter-wave propagating structures, including H-guide, shielded image guide and ridged guide. The accuracy of the approach is confirmed by comparison with experimental results for rectangular waveguide.
