Determination des rayons de cepheides. II. Vitesses radiales et dimensions de AD Gem.
Abstract
A radial velocity spectrometer has been used to observe the classical Cepheid AD Gem, yielding 38 accurate velocities. These, together with UBV measurements from the literature, were then used in radius determinations through the solution of a system of equations. A limited Fourier series from the observations was used to calculate V magnitudes and B-V color indices from 280 epochs within one period. A radius of 35.6 + or - 0.6 solar radii is obtained, which is compatible with the most recent period radius relations.
