The derivation of equilibrium constants from LPE and VPE growth data for (Ga, In) As; an approach to the determination of solid activity coefficients

Equilibrium constants derived from LPE and VPE growth data on the ternary (Ga, In) As, and from literature data on the binaries GaAs and InAs are compared and a measure of agreement is found. The approach is shown to provide a method of determining solid activity coefficients without recourse to thermodynamic modelling.
