Experimental studies of atmospheric carbon dioxide /Review/
Abstract
The literature on experimental studies of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is examined. The principal results of such studies are summarized, and attention is given to measuring instruments and methods (including the use of nondispersive infrared optoacoustic gas analyzers). The development of a spectroscopic technique for obtaining the height-averaged profile of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is discussed.
