Analysis of strip line dispersion
Abstract
Various existing methods of studying the dispersivity of a microstrip line are reviewed. Analytic methods are outlined. Numerical methods are detailed with regard to the finite difference theory and finite element method. Other techniques, such as models of the Getsinger and Carlin type or empirical methods, were analyzed. A general comparison of results obtained by using the different methods presented is made and discussed.
