Superposition of flow components in rarefied internal flow
Abstract
A comparison is made between the continuum-with-slip plus diffusion model for rarefied internal flow and two other analytical models. Several observations are made with regard to the validity of superimposing a continuum-with-slip flow component and a diffusion component. The comparisons and observations are made by applying the models to the plane Poiseuille flow problem.
