Measurement of the complex dielectric constant of a medium in a waveguide by a method of two transverse slots
Abstract
A new method for measuring the complex dielectric constant of liquid and solid media at wave length 3.2 cm by comparing the amplitude and phase of two branching signals is described. The procedure is simple and accurate, having an error of 2% for epsilon prime and 3-5% for epsilon double prime.
