Measurement of the Differential Cross-Section for the Process: K0 + p → K+ + n in the Momentum Range: 0.6 → 1.5 GeV/c
Abstract
An experiment to measure the differential cross-section for the reaction K0 + p → K+ between 0.6 and 1.5 GeV/c incident momentum has been carried out using the 5 GeV electron synchrotron 'NINA' at the Daresbury Nuclear Physics Laboratory. The measurement of the angular distributions together with the calibration of the momentum spectrum of the K0L beam are described and used to present the absolute differential cross-section.
