On the two q-analogue logarithmic functions: ?
Abstract
There is a simple, multi-sheet Riemann surface associated with 0305-4470/29/24/031/img2's inverse function 0305-4470/29/24/031/img3 for 0305-4470/29/24/031/img4. A principal sheet for 0305-4470/29/24/031/img3 can be defined. However, the topology of the Riemann surface for 0305-4470/29/24/031/img3 changes each time q increases above the collision point 0305-4470/29/24/031/img7 of a pair of the turning points 0305-4470/29/24/031/img8 of 0305-4470/29/24/031/img9. There is also a power series representation for 0305-4470/29/24/031/img10. An infinite-product representation for 0305-4470/29/24/031/img2 is used to obtain the ordinary natural logarithm 0305-4470/29/24/031/img12 and the values of the sum rules 0305-4470/29/24/031/img13 for the zeros 0305-4470/29/24/031/img14 of 0305-4470/29/24/031/img2. For 0305-4470/29/24/031/img16, 0305-4470/29/24/031/img17 where 0305-4470/29/24/031/img18. The values of the sum rules for the q-trigonometric functions, 0305-4470/29/24/031/img19 and 0305-4470/29/24/031/img20, are q-deformations of the usual Bernoulli numbers.
