Comment on Radiative Neutrino Mass Matrix with a Sterile Neutrino
Abstract
A mechanism of radiatively generating neutrino masses is implemented in an SU(2)L× U(1)Y × SU(2)'L × U(1)'Y model, where the first and second families respect SU(2)L × U(1)Y symmetry while SU(2)'L× U(1)'Y is specific to the third family. The fourth neutrino, νs, which has a U(1)Y × U(1)'Y coupling, enters the model to induce neutrino mixings through additional interactions with e and μ. The phenomenologically consistent oscillation of νs-νe requires a dominated coupling of νe to e.
