Quantum radiation from a partially reflecting moving mirror
Abstract
We consider the quantum radiation from a partially reflecting moving mirror in two-dimensional Minkowski space. Semi-transparency is achieved by localizing a δ-type potential at the mirror's position. We obtain the radiated flux for arbitrary motions as an integral functional of the entire mirror's past trajectory. Partial reflectivity corrections to the perfect mirror result are also discussed.
