Revisiting Yano Extrapolation Theory

We prove a pointwise estimate for the decreasing rearrangement of Tf, where T is any sublinear operator satisfying the weak-type boundedness T:Lp,1(μ)→Lp,∞(ν),∀p:1<p0<p≤p1<∞,with norm controlled by Cφp0-1-p-1-1 and φ satisfies some admissibility conditions. The pointwise estimate is: (Tf)ν∗(t)≲1p0-11t1p0∫0tφ1-logrtfμ∗(r)drr1-1p0+1t1p1∫t∞fμ∗(r)drr1-1p1. In particular, this estimate allows to obtain extensions of Yano's extrapolation results.
