Real-time and robust feature detection of continuous marker pattern for dense 3-D deformation measurement
Abstract
A real-time and robust feature detection method applicable to visuotactile sensors based on continuous marker patterns is proposed. The feature model and sampling strategies of chessboard-like corners under contact deformation are analyzed based on amplitude-frequency characteristic and circular cross-correlation. Dense 3-d contact deformation measurement and process tracking are achieved. This study will promote the application of visuotactile sensing technology in robot manipulation and human–computer interaction.
