High-temperature superconductivity using a model of hydrogen bonds
Abstract
In this paper, we suggest a simple model for high-temperature superconductivity in hydrogen-containing compounds. We show several features: starting with the nonmonotonic behavior of Tc even in the simple HO model, with the resulting nontrivial isotope effect, and culminating in the use of special dynamics of protons on H bonds, to get high Tc. We use interesting concepts of chemistry to solve an important problem in physics. Thus, the paper is truly interdisciplinary.
