A novel dynamic scale factor designed for recovering global TWS changes
Abstract
A novel dynamic scale factor was devised by integrating the Bayesian Three-Cornered Hat method and the Kalman filter estimation. The dynamic scale factor considered the temporal dynamics of TWS evolution and overcame other limitations associated with the conventional scale factor approach. The dynamic scale factor exhibited superior accuracy compared to the conventional scale factor in restoring global Terrestrial Water Storage anomalies.
