GRB 240912A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
Abstract
At 01:46:40 UT on 12 Sep 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240912A (trigger 747798405.59471 / 240912074). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 153.1, Dec = 23.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 12m, 23d 48'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 81.0 degrees.
