GRB 240112D: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
Abstract
At 21:56:04 UT on 12 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240112D (trigger 726789369.452754 / 240112914). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 148.5, Dec = -79.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 54m, -79d 24'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 26.0 degrees. The skymap can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2024/bn240112914/quicklook/glg_skymap_all_bn240112914.png The HEALPix FITS file, including the estimated localization systematic, can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2024/bn240112914/quicklook/glg_healpix_all_bn240112914.fit The GBM light curve can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2024/bn240112914/quicklook/glg_lc_medres34_bn240112914.gif
