VizieR Online Data Catalog: The Lyα Reference Sample (LARS). XIV. (Melinder+, 2023)
Abstract
The observational strategy for the Lyα Reference Sample (LARS) is described in detail by Ostlin+ (2014ApJ...797...11O), and the same strategy for imaging Lyα emission from a combination of broad- and narrowband HST filters is employed for the extended sample.
All observations were carried out using HST with three different cameras: ACS/Solar Blind Channel (SBC), ACS/Wide Field Camera (WFC), and Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3)/UVIS. A list of which filters were used for the individual targets can be found in Table 7. While we used archival data when available, the bulk of the data set consists of observations from HST program 12310 (Ostlin+ 2014ApJ...797...11O, the original LARS, observed from 2010-2012), and HST program 13483 (ELARS, observed from 2013-2014). The observations for Tol 1214-277 come from HST program 14923 (G. Ostlin+ 2023, in preparation), for Tol 1247-232 from HST program 13027 (Puschnig+ 2017MNRAS.469.3252P), and for J1156 from HST program 13656 (Hayes+ 2016ApJ...828...49H, M. Rutkowski+ 2023, in preparation). The specific observations analyzed can be accessed at doi:10.17909/4s6m-7255. See Section 2. Throughout this paper we use a ΛCDM cosmology with (H0, Ωm, ΩΛ)=(70km/s/Mpc, 0.3, 0.7). (7 data files).- Publication:
