Effects of elevated temperature on 8-OHdG expression in the American oyster (Crassostrea virginica): Induction of oxidative stress biomarkers, cellular apoptosis, DNA damage and γH2AX signaling pathways
Abstract
High temperature increases 8-OHdG and dsDNA expressions in tissues of American oyster. High temperature induces cellular apoptosis and oxidative stress in oysters. High temperature decreases extrapallial fluid protein concentrations in oysters.
